The block art features are currently being developed. The majority of the curbing and precast blocks being used on the stepping paths up the hill are being delivered in the next 2 weeks. The mound feature close to Huron Avenue has been graded.The trees that were removed from this area are being used in the playground at Glacken, as well as in the Universal Design Playground at Danehy that is currently under construction. September 2021: installation of rubber surfacing and landscaping in the play area. The entire park has been surrounded by a pathway with new landscaping and play features. The tot lot area has been reconstructed with new play structures, rubber surfaces, a wave curb and a spray pad. Glacken field has undergone a renovation to include two new little league fields with dugouts, backstops and a bullpen/batting cage. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
